Rusty

Rusty From Colorado.
I use to own a '83 Jeep Larado and wore it out. I put 400,000 miles, 3 engines, and 2 transmissons in it. Was the Family car with 4 kids.
I'm considering buying a Wrangler for camping and work.I just totaled my work Van and want to buy a Wrangler instead. I'm 59 and looking to go to the mountains on weekends. No rough stuff just leisure camping. What year model seems to be the most dependable? I thinking I want to stay close to a stock model with maybe a lift kit, and flared fenders. How large of a trailer can they pull?

Welcome to WF Rusty. I would say if you're thinking of towing with one, get the new 4 door JK model. 07' and newer. It has a longer wider wheel base.
