Thanks, and thanks to everyone else for the compliments.

The 4 banger is actually my engine of choice. I am into rockcrawling and find the 4 banger to be a better choice in my opinion.

1. Weight reduction
2. Plenty of power, it's about the gears not hp
3. No almost standard issue rear main seal leak
4. Throttle is not so touchy
5. No overheating issues

This isn't a condemnation of the 4.0, just my reasons for why I decided to get the 4 banger over the 4.0.

As for the build, I can't take too much credit other than turning wrenches. The rest of the credit goes to my sponsors for the parts.

I do like your forum. It's nice to get away from work and chat elsewhere.

Yeah, I hear you there. I have a friend running the 2.5 on his TJ with 6.38 gears and a 4:1. That thing will bark 37's standing on the brakes in 4LO. He will be with it in Moab at the RK booth should be on 40's then. It's a trailer queen and rarely touches the street. With that gearing the 4 banger is plenty of motor.
