Thank you! I have no idea what to get yet. I'm interested in the tj or yj but which is better, 4 cyl vs. 6 auto vs manual? I plan to use it as a jeep and not as my primary road warrior. I appreciate any input or recommendations.

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.

Welcome to Wrangler Forum. I am a little biased here, but I would recommend the TJ, I would insist on the I-6 and definitely go with the manual. I have the auto and I really wish that I had gone with the stick.

Thanks jd! I was leaning toward the setup you suggested, thanks for the extra push. Only problem is I can't seem to find one.
