Soft top removal

Hi All, I have just picked up my new Jeep Overland with the hard &soft top option. Now this may sound dumb, but the soft top is already situated/installed across the back of the boot area. Question is, do I need to take the hard top off to remove this? I think that it was installed there for delivery purposes.
Cheers Lisa

Yes. The best way to prevent damage is to first remove the hardtop. I have heard of people getting it out without removing the hardtop, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Should have asked the dealer to take care of it on a new vehicle

That doesn't help you to get the soft top home.

I was so excited to get it home that I didn't realise the soft top was eating into my shopping bag space....lol

I love this car drove down the Great ocean Road (look this one up if you are interested - Victoria, Australia) handled like a Jeep....
Cheers from down under
