Soon to be JKU owner!!!! woot woot!

Hey everyone!

So, come April, my significant other's lease is going to end, and she wants to purchase a new Cherokee. I'm thinking this is the perfect time for me to buy my first Wrangler (not my first Jeep though, I had a Commander, love/hated it). Since I know the guys at this particular dealer pretty well, I know I can swing some sort of deal.

I'm thinking of getting a Sahara in Granite. I tossed between the Rubicon and the Sahara, but at the end, I decided on the Sahara.

The most "off roading" I'll be doing is at OBX when driving around the sand. Or when I'm going camping out in VA, WV, PA. And not really "off roading" but when I go skiiing for the weekend. So as you can see nothing extreme, and I think the Sahara is more than capable for this.

So to kill 2 birds with one stone, I thought I'd say hi and ask a few questions to get me started in my "browser shopping" for the stuff I want to do to it.

I want to purchase a roof rack, and I saw the Gobi. I liked it, but I want to see my options for other racks that don't require any bolts to be loosened at all to take the hard top off.

I also want to add a few LED lights (4" - 20" - 4" configuration) across the top off of the roof rack. And at any given time, I will be carrying one of the following toys.
- Kayak/Canoe
- Mountain Bikes (2-3)
- Road Bikes (2)
- Skis(2 sets)/Snowboard (1-2)

I don't think I need to put a lift on it, but I'd like to get slightly bigger and more aggressive tires... I don't even know where to begin to start reading up on what my options are!

I definitely want to get a fast back soft top, what are my options on this?

That's pretty much it for now, but I have a feeling that this will just be the beginning. I have an addictive personality! LOL

Anyhow, hello and thanks!

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.
