Tacoma convert

Happy Holidays!

I live in a small ski town in western NY called Swain. I just bought my first jeep yesterday... 06 Rubicon. My former vehicle was a 99 Tacoma with OME lift, 33x10.5s, bumpers, rock sliders, winch (truck still for sale). I want a similar set up for the Rubicon, probably running 255/85/16s. Any suggestions on lifting the jeep for these tires, backspacing, bumpers/sliders etc. would be appreciated. Forgive my ignorance, I've been a Toyota guy for years. I'm back to square one now.

I like yotas. Just like jeeps better.

welcome to WF!!
i wuold say get a 2"BB
and a 1.25 in BL
and stick some 33's under there
that will be the cheapest thing and 33's on a jeep will get u a TON farther than on a tacoma

and remember to wave!!!!

ohhh btw u near cornell?
thats where i wanna go to school
anything to say about it or where it is or anyhting
thanks

Again, forgive my Jeep ignorance. It looks like 33x10.5 BFG MT on black steelies are the most cost effective way to go. What would you rec for BS, 3.75 or 4.5". I'm SUPPOSED to stay within the wheelwells in NY.
Any suggestions on 2"BB and BL? Cost? Where to get the parts? I'm going to have a winch/bumpers and full size spare if that makes a difference.

Swain is 2 hours west of Ithaca, 1.5 hrs south of Rochester
Happy New Year's

I traded in a perfectly fine Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner (2005, bought new, with 24,000 on the odometer, a color-matched fiberglass Cap, and tube running boards, fully loaded) for my 2008 Wrangler X, and I'm NEVER looking back!!

i would suggest posting your question in the TJ section and they will help you out there,
but i have to say that most people get JKS body lifts and as for bb most people get OME the best place for that combination would be the lift kits at www.dpgoffroad.com
the price should be on there
