Texas to Maine

I have always been a big Land Rover fan. I owned many. But since the Defender is no more, I find myself driving a 2011 Call To Duty Black Ops Rubicon. I am not disappointed! Had a 2.5 inch lift in back and a 3 inch lift in front, plus other goodies like winch, bumpers, etc. Xtream Outfitters of Kerrville, TX do awesome work! I spend 9 months in my residence state Texas. The Hill Country to be exact. Summer still finds me along the Maine coast. I often park the Jeep for my Ural 2WD Sidecar, or my BMW Adventure bike.

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to finding some good spots to test the Jeep out on. Went to Big Bend and had a great time, but honestly didn't need 4WD to cover the worst roads!

Hey Papa, When you get back to central Texas, Hidden falls just east of Marble Falls will test your rig nicely. Would love to join ya. You want to stay in Maine a little longer as it is Africa hot down here right now.

Sounds great. I have read about it, but never traveled over. Guess I should, huh! I hear you about Africa hot. I will be in Maine until October, but I will be headed that way after a trip to Botswana first!
