hey whats up my name is rob. after a four year break i am once again a jeep wrangler owner. I just got a 98 sport, i rescued it from an early death. The previous owner didnt have the time to put into it so it sat for like two years. He had stopped driving it because of a broken fuel line, after sitting for a while the new england weather beat it up a bit so i have a bit of work to do. I am in the process of redoing the brake lines, but i have to get a new exhaust manifold(surprise surprise) fix a leaky windshield, seems like i need a new alternator, and fix my doors.(passenger won't open and driver only opens from the inside. I appreciate the info and pointers and would like to thank all of you for taking the time to help me out. rob

Howdy, Rob. Welcome to WF.
Sounds like you've got a fun project going.

Welcome to the forum. I can feel your pain with the exhaust manifold. Been there done that. Had a catalytic converter to replace also. Early TJs seem to be known for those two. However, runs great now and when you get to that point you will not want to give it up again
