The dog loves the Jeep!

Hello Jeep Community,

I just picked up a 1994 Wrangler and just love it and so does my dog! I want to change out the fold and tumble bench seat in the back to fold and tumble buckets so I can make room for a dog crate so she can ride along in safety. Does anyone have experience doing this and recomnedations for making it happen?

I've heard of people doing this but not sure how it's done. I suggest you post your question in the YJ Jeep Wrangler Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum I think you'll get more answers there.

In the mean time . . .

If you don't regularly transport people in the back seat, just pull the bench out completely. It pops out and back in in seconds.

Gridly, Welcome Aboard! Have you considered getting a dog seat belt instead?

There is only one thing that dogs like more than riding in a Jeep..... that is BACON!

Take a look at this harness

Kurgo Auto Zip Line - Kurgo Dog Seat Belt Harness - Kurgo Dog Zip Line Seat Harness
Daily Driver 2010 Ford Fusion
Weekend Toy: 2008 Rubicon...
Expensive Toy: 1983 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog!

Welcome aboard! I got a little 15 lb min pin who loves going in my Jeep. Never had a problem with him and he usually just sits on the back seat or has his head out the window in the front lol.

My puppy Bailey looooves "Mickey" the Jeep... And off roading!
I suggest a doggie harness. Got her one from PETCO but she hates it cause she wants to look "kool" lol

Oh and welcome!
