I've been infatuated with Wranglers for about a year, really had been dying to drive one. Well I did last week, and am possibly going to be buying the base model on Tuesday. I'm making more money than ever, and my payments would be in the $340-$410 range depending on how financing and all of that goes. I'm currently driving a '04 Civic with 163,000 miles. Also wondering just how higher my insurance will go. Guess I came here looking for some feedback, and morale support
not really sure just yet, I love the look and the fact that it's a 2011.. I also test drove one and was pretty impressed. I can easily afford it so I'm thinking why not, but I know those monthly payments can get old quick.
I don't know about you but the reason I put up with the added cost of a Jeep is the ability to go offroad. I wouldn't want to take a new one where I go. You might look at a used TJ and see if you are still wanting one after getting used to it. You can usually get a pretty good deal on a nice Jeep if you look around and it's easier not to cry at a $7500 Jeep getting a ding than it is at a $25,000 getting a dent. And if you find it not to your liking you can always get your money back out of it.
well I live in Central New York and so far no good. I've never been off-roading and that's something I was looking into just not sure where I'd be doing it. My Dad worked at Chrysler and is now a retiree so I'll be getting a several grand discount.
Just have to sell my Civic so I can have a better down payment, trying to get under $400 a month. Hopefully by Thursday things will be happening. Keep ya's posted
That's her, or at least close to her lol. I'll be getting it Monday, sadly my insurance will increase about $300. Now I'll be paying closer to $1,400 a year (thanks to a couple of speeding tickets). I'm a little weary of having payments, but considering I spend my money on random things this will give me a better sense of accomplishment.. plus look good with my credit once I finally pay it off.
