Just registered for I know advice is a plus from those who do. May buy a new 2012 Rubicon Tour of Duty. Looks gaudy with all the exterior badges. Want to remove them. Any ideas? Are there any riveted on to worry about? Thanks.

Thanks for the welcome and advice. Apparently in my part of the country, what can't be outright stolen will be left broken. Last night I was informed that if we bought this Tour of Duty Rubicon, the gamers and thiefs would have a hayday ripping off our Jeep. That is if they don't rip off the whole truck at once. So, off go the badges making the exterior incognito, hopefully.

Thanks to all. I wish that we had had all this info at our disposal when I went through my last 2 Jeeps. CJ5 Laredo and a Grand Wagoneer Limited. Just not knowing about something and being able to find the answer by posting the question is too cool. We are buying a Rubicon for my wife, who has had Jeeps as well before. Can't wait to see what she is like in the Rockies of New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.
