Top Gear Jeep Rebirth

Hi Everybody,
newly registered 2nd J.K.
My first post is in response to an older forum subject. It inspired me to email Top Gear U.K directly, register and restart the subject.

Top Gear U.K hasn't coverd these three great vehicles together.
Imagine those three goofing around in the 4x4's we know and love.
Here is the email I sent as follows.

Subject: General Purpose?

Hello Top Gear,

I would like you to do a three teared review and compare the Land Rover Defender, Toyota FJ Cruiser and the Jeep Wrangler 4 door Rubicon. On road, offroad functions and features.
Here's a link to the forum that got me thinking.

Why haven't we seen a comparative review in regards to these very capable machines on your program? I've been watching Top Gear for years. Maybe I missed that episode.

Thanks for all the laughs over the years.

Jeff.

; seen just about every episode and zero info comparison wise. Would of thought it was a no brainier seeing as they do those epic specials every once and a while.

You probably will not see the uk top gear doing this comparison. They are incredibly bias toward British cars( land rover) so if they did make one, it would be a sham, and the discovery would "win"

True dat, I tried to buy a Defender 110 but it was way to small for me. I'm 6'4" and had no chance at all of being comfortable. Maybe British soldiers are all limited to 5'-10'. I also tried out the FJ cruiser, it faired much better in regards to comfort but is a little bit stupid inside the cabin. The engine felt very clunky even compared to my 1st J.K.
The show would be an excellent one but i feel that you are correct. Besides that, with all the recent J.K updates the other two aren't ageing that well. I'd still rather my old J.K over the current Defender 110 and FJ cruiser models.
The defender is being redesigned as I write and I'm wondering what Toyota has up its sleeve? Mmm.

I've seen some mean machines on my travels; Crocker Offroad, B.O.R & A.E.V.
To name a few, any others come to mind.
Check out this Chinese J.K copy, no exactly what I was thinking off. Mean cheap maybe?
