I keep finding different answers and you all seem to know what you are talking about so.....
The dealer wants a copy of my transmission service records for my 2006 Wrangler Rubicon before he will move forward on transmission investigation for possible problems.
The dealer stated that at "around 30,000 it calls out for the transmission to be serviced - filter fluid gaskets."
According to the jeep maintenance log book it states nothing about automatic transmission service at 30,000 miles
At 60,000 miles "drain and refill automatic transmission fluid change filter" applies only if vehicle is used for frequent trailer towing or fleet/commercial use...which does not apply to me.
My Jeep has 59,400 miles on it.
My thought is that I do not have to give him anything because nothing is required. I have the extended 6/70,000 added care plus plan through Chrysler.
OR.....Is he right in asking for records from 30,000 and I need to keep looking to find them in THAT BOX!?!
