Question Typical rear window zipper problems

My 06 Wrangler rear window zipper is a real pain to deal with. To the extent that I don't remove it which limits access to the rear area. I would like an alternative to the current system. Has anyone come up with a solution that offers easy installation and accessability to the rear compartment. Hinges? Velcro? I saw one neatly rolled up with straps...however, it didn't appear to have the global zippered edge. Any suggestions other than repair or replacement with the sameO, sameO... Cheers to all!

Well I used to roll up the back and mine was zippered (there were 2 straps to roll it up in the back).
I had some zipper problems (zipper getting stuck) and such, and took mine to a clothing upholstery shop, and they fixed my whole door zipper for $15 I think (in Phoenix). It sounds odd taking your door into a clothing upholstery store, but for that price and the work they did, I was very happy with the outcome.
and welcome to WF!

Im not sure what problem you are having, but try surf board wax ( sex wax) or somthing similar, could help make the zipper move easier!
