Ugly

Just wanted everyone to meet my jeep.

Jeep say Hi!

Jeep was aquired from a PO who didn't treat jeep with respect, so I adopted Jeep for the small price of $1400. Through many hours of labor, blood, sweat, tears, and more sweat, I have started to remodel jeep into the object of my affection.

It's got alot of promise.

Welcome

Oh - how I miss Ocala - but not the humidity

*edit* I should also say - but not the sand for a front yard either

Fun ride, enjoy the project and of course enjoy riding around! have you had a Jeep before? I like not having the backseat in my YJ, makes for fitting stuff in much easier if needed. And one less thing to deal with!

andrea, this is my first jeep, I know its a 4 banger but I couldn't pass it up for the price plus no rust. I have done quite a bit so far. I am still reluctant to trail it yet due to the rear 35. I am in the works of purchasing a ford 8.8 and SYE.

What? Wheel the HELL out of it with the 35. Then as soon as it busts do the 8.8. Then you don't have to worry about it.

Plus it gives you an excellent excuse to upgrade when it's busted.

The dana35s aren't bad axles as long as you stay under 31" tires. They will hold up to almost all abuse you can throw at them. I've gone rock crawling a couple of times and they hold up great

My plans include 33" tires and I would prefer to be able to trail my jeep as hard and often as I like without the risks of blowing up!
