Wink Virginia here. First Jeep in 10 years. 4th in my lifetime. '13 JKU Saraha "Gecko".

Hey y'all! My name is Mitchell. I'm from Northern VA (near D.C.) where I work as a professional computer nerd. I train others how to use PCs - even starting with the basics, if I have to: "So that's called a CURSOR that you're moving on the MONITOR. See?"

I've owned 3 Jeeps in the past:
  • '89 YJ Wrangler 4.2L automatic with hardtop and funky pinstripes
    • Mods: 2" shackle lift, 235 BFG AT tires, new stereo/speakers/sub
  • '97 TJ Wrangler 4.0L Sahara
    • Mods: 6.5" Rubicon Express lift, 38.5" TSL SS, lockers, 4-speed Ford T-18a tranny, Atlas T.C., full roll cage, Warn winch, Hella lights, lots of other stuff I'm forgetting
  • '99 XJ Cherokee 4.0L "Classic" 4-door automatic
    • Mods: 4" Lift, 33" Mud Kings, roof rack, steel bumpers
I signed up here on WranglerForum last Saturday, immediately after buying my new baby:
  • 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara automatic with the "Gecko Pearlcoat"
    • Premium Soft Top
    • 430n Navigation & uConnect/Bluetooth
    • Heated black leather seats
    • Auto climate control
    • Supplemental Airbags
    • Rear differential
    • Max tow package
No mods so far and frankly, no plans to do anything major regarding the suspension or tires or anything. I'm just enjoying driving my Jeep. It's come SO far in terms of creature comforts, electronics, handling, engine power, and less road noise (couldn't tell much of a diff. between premium soft top & hard top). The new Pentastar is *whistle* real nice. The automatic transmission shifts so smooth!

Anyhow, enough about me. Time for a few pics:

Thanks all! So I ordered my first "mods":

- (2) Silicone Rubber Key/Keyfob Covers to protect the factory key from damage. Multiple colors avail. I went with Purple for the wife and bright Green for mine. I've used these keyfob covers for my past few cars over the past 6 years and they've worked wonderfully. Only ~$7 each with free S&H makes this a sweet deal:
Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep Keyless Remote Jacket (ddga55)

- ZAGG screen cover for my 430n Navigation. I've only heard good things about these screen protectors from friends. I'll see how it turns out. I used "retailmenot.com" to find a promo that gave me 50% off, so instead of $15 it was $7.50 with a few bucks for S&H.
Chrysler MyGig Infotainment Center Screen Protector | invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG
(If you're having difficulty finding it, it's because the InvisibleSHIELD for the 430n is found under Gadget Type -> "Other", Brand -> "Chrysler", Model -> "Chrysler MyGig Infotainment Center".
