Well I just got myself a Jeep.......

This will be a whole new world for me. But its nice to be here. Thanx for having me. I recently purchased an '00 Wrangler with only 32,800 miles on the clock. But this is gonna take some getting used to from what I'm coming from. Please excuse my ignorance if I seem clueless asking the dumbest of questions. Not to down the Wrangler or anything, but it's like night and day from my other car. Power, handling, interior, suspension, aerodynamics.....the gambit goes on and on; are all on total opposite ends of the spectrum. Anyways, here are a few pics of my baby that I just let go yesterday =(

Cute car, but you'll love your jeep. Don't worry about asking anything. We'll all do the best we can to help you out.

Look forward to conversing with you!

A G35?! HOw in the hell could you give that up?! Any mods to the motor? I see you got the sexy Volk Racing wheels and the Brembo kit... one of my fav imports at the moment. Very sweet! BUt if you like getting dirty, the Jeep is the way to go - welcome aboard and be prepaired to spend even more money!

i just wanted to start savig more money. believe me, i felt like sh*t leaving it behind on the lot. i mean it took me forever to find a white six speed with brembos (because '04 was the last year the six speeds came with brembos from the factory). i must have second guessed myself a million times before making the final decision. it wasn't easy. heart breaking even

thanx for the welcome,
chris

first mod..........B&M short throw with Hurst (or B&M) T-handle

Welcome to the Forum fellow Pennsylvanian! That's a nice G, but you'll be glad you gave it up the first time it snows and you go climb stuff in your Jeep. Plus the approach and departure angles on that Infinity sucks.

Talking Welcome!

Welcome, G_Spot, to the best resource for anything Jeep in existence! Though I understand the "grieving" process over the loss of your "civilized" mode of transport, you will soon discover the depth of the Jeep mystique. There's a bumper sticker that says, "It's a Jeep Thing; You Wouldn't Understand." You will soon experience what that means. The word "Jeep" stands alone when we're talking motor vehicles. When you go to the store, you say, "Let's get in the car." But, with a Jeep you'll say, "Let's get in the Jeep." No other vehicle brand name commands that unique "worship." The first time you go off-road and get some mud you'll begin to understand. And, don't forget the Jeep wave to fellow Wrangler and CJ drivers! You'll find it's a unique Jeep Wrangler thing that is universal for all Wrangler and CJ owners. Wave and watch the response. Unless they're "brain dead" at the moment (which I have been as I'm crusin' with something on my mind) or have never heard of the wave, the response will thrill ya! Again, welcome!
