Post What should i buy

Hi everyone, new to this forum, i have a simple question it seems like, but i need help from owners of a wrangler. So I am in Kuwait, working and living here. I am interested in buying a jeep. My question is, what should i get, what year, what trim style, manual, auto, etc etc. The weather here is harsh, 120 degrees in the summer, sand, and just alot of off roading. Miles and miles of desert. Will a wrangler handle this type of natural elements. I would appreciate all the help. Also i been told about inline 6 and v6. not sure what the difference is between the two.

Whatever you decide, make sure if it's an auto, you put a tranny cooler on it (unless it's a '12, which comes with one).

Welcome to WF!

An inline 6 will have more torque than a V6, generally speaking. Nicer to have when you're idling over rocks or through mud.
