What's up..

Hey guys, just bought a 92 4cyl on Friday. Insured it Saturday and I'm in the process of cleaning up the Title. It had some total loss issue on it, but the car is fine. I'm an ex mechanic and I don't see anything wrong with the car. It came from NJ and wasn't declared as a loss when it came to Florida, so even the state is a bit stumped.
Anyways, I'm an avid Mustang fan but I'm excited about the Wrangler. Can't wait to take it for a drive. So far it seems to have a mild body lift, 33 inch tires, and a few things here and there. I'll clean it up when our water restriction goes away and I'll post some pictures.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Jeep.

I'm a little confused on what you're saying about cleaning up the title though. Are you saying you're trying to get the "total loss" removed?

Well, i could care less about the title saying Salvage or whatever. Aparently, somewhere in the car coming from New Jersey to Florida, something happened and the car was listed as totaled, but it was never shown on the title. Seems to have been an error in the transferring of it from Jersey to Florida, and someone at the tag agency forgot to mark it as a salvaged title or something. I basically have to get a totaled title, take it to my dmv, have them inspect it, and then they give me a paper. I take that paper back to the tag agency and then they give me a title.
It's just a mess. It's really no concern, i just know it's going to take a while when you have to go back an forth from tag agency to DMV. Regardless, the jeep runs great, looks great. I have an empty lot next to my house so i was just driving around in it yesterday. We'll see what happens.

Hello, Sflcobra. Welcome to WF. You don't have to clean up your rig before you post pictures, jeeps are supposed to be dirty.
