Welcome to WF

and if u dont know about the jeep wave: wave to every other jeep you see

naow about ur problme there, i assume on any other car your good wiht a clutch so that leaves us with something being wrong with the clutch mechanism somehow, now to get this straigh in firt gear you had the clutch engaged adn then it slipped off and disengaged? of did the gear shift move and it popped out of gear? of what, a littl emore explanation would help

or it could just be that you need to give it some gas b/c of the bigger tires or something

btw sounds like a great jeep!

If a body lift is part of the 4" kit you may have to do some trimming around the shifter. I can't say for sure this is it, I've never installed a body lift on a Jeep.
Just getting to work is an adventure.

My Cobra did that in 1st and 3rd. The sincros were bad.
