Post yeah up I'm also new here!

hi guys I'm new in here and first thing i want to ask u experts about the jeeps is i got my first jeep ever and I'm so exited about it and i would like to find out what type of fuel i should use on the jeep? the manual is asking for regular fuel 89 but does anyone know what would it happened if i decide to used higher octane? and would it make it run better using higher octane????

Welcome and enjoy the forum! 89 or 87 Use what the book said do not go higher. The computer is set to run on that octane.

Welcome! Run the regular Nolead in your area. Octane ratings vary from different regions. Nolead here is rated at 86 octane. Basically all the same. Have always run 86 with no problems.

I actually get better mileage with the higher octane. Enough of a difference to justify the higher price.
