yep im a nubcake >.<

hey im the new kid (only 17 lol!) to 4x4s and jeeps and all got into it after my dad bought his lifted excursion 4x4 i went out and bought an 88 jeep sahara all beat up (i didnt have the money for a nice one but it looked cool and sounded even better) well i had it for a week learned stick as i drove it and the tranny went out at 150k miles lol. so its been in and out of welding and repair shop slow being fixed as i am low income and all haha but i had a ax15 tranny put in it and i hope it does well on some up coming trips!

Welcome to the looney bin! I had an 87 and blew the trans at 150k as well. Good move swapping in the AX-15.

well i pulled up to school and a friend told me i was leaking and when i looked under i saw my life blood draining, my gear oil poured out in a matter of minutes, turns out a bearing shot through the casing (i later found the bearing in the frame with gear teeth marks all over it) i dunno y the bearing shot but i got better now =D
