I hear ya. I had to use a small rubber mallet to get mine to latch initially. The next day I flipped the top back and it re-latched that evening no problem. Needed time to "relax" I suppose.

Good to hear. I got mine to latch right before it started raining...now I don't want to unlatch it.

After finally having a chance to drive around with my new Trektop NX, I have one issue. The zipper that holds the top of the passenger side window flaps against the metal bracket that holds the back of the top in place and there's no way to keep it from rattling like crazy going down the road.

Any thoughts on this Geoff? Would it be possible to supply a piece of foam to stick on over the metal brackets?

Do you think a trek top or bikini top would look better on an 07 wrangler

The Trektop NX can be a bikini top if you take the windows out.

The Trektop NX actually becomes a Safari top with the windows out. Bikini stops at the sound bar and the Safari goes all the way back to the end of the top bars.

I have the Bikini on mine right now and have the duster just in case it rains.

Here is the bikini with the duster and windjammer. Not a great angle but best I have at the moment

Older pic before I got the door surround which helps water proof the bikini a little

There are several people right up here ^ who have not only got theirs, but have posted photos and install hints.

Even rics1997 -finally- has his. That's a JK Trektop NX in the post right above yours. (running with just the Bikini in the photo).

Got my Supertop NX, installed but couple of bits damaged/missing, reported to Bestop CS and received the bits no problems.

Long wait but all the thanks go to Bestop for a nice product and good customer service, even when the customer is across the pond in the UK.

Hey Geoff, you should talk to them about offering a special price on window storage bags to make up for the delays. Will go a long way to make up for the problems.

By the way will the current window storage bags work for the trektop windows and if not is there plans for a storage bag anytime soon.

I see QTC has a back-order now for the HOSS softop storage duffle...I assume this is just a very temporary delay and not a production issue?

Send a message via Yahoo to coop42
After 2 months I have finally got it!!! Geoff, my only real complaint is the top arch bar seems short. I get puddles, sagging and the top lifts off the bar when I'm driving. Is this normal?

Love this top! Took about an hour to take old one off and put this on, I had no experience at all. Get compliments all the time.

Trextop NX Install
Nice pics and great write up!!
My install went great also.
After having the top on for 6 months now I love it except for the rear bar for the window. Is there another option for this?

I ordered my Trektop NX for my 2 door JK a month ago (7/11). I call 4wheelonilne every week. I'm sure they're getting tired of hearing from me and I know I am tired of hearing the word backorder. I was hoping to get it before I go on a trip in a couple weeks but after reading that it took coop42 2 months I am starting to lose hope.

Fed Ex just delivered my top! Yay! 1 month and 6 days after I ordered it, but who's counting?
I unboxed it and began reading the instructions. I got stumped in the first step:
"unzip the upper rear sport bar cover and locate the upper sport bar bolt."
Which bolt?!? There are 2. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the next line didn't read "Cut a horizontal slit ... in the sport bar cover".
Can anyone thats done an install on a JK 2 door help me out?

Nevermind, I figured it out by putting the door surround on first. It becomes obvious the cable bracket attaches with the front bolt.
Got the top installed in less then 2 hours. Now I'm going for a test drive!
