All GOBI JK racks are comprised of two main parts. The rack cargo holding area is made for a 2-door or 4-door JK, other than the length this part is the same for all JK racks. The difference between the JK Ranger and Stealth Racks comes down to the choice of GOBI Recon light bar. Both of these GOBI off road light mounting platforms project forward of the windshield preventing high intensity light glare from bouncing off the windshield blinding the driver during nighttime outings.
Equipped with a Ranger Recon Light Bar, the Ranger rack accommodates larger off-road lights. The overall height of a vehicle equipped with OEM tires and no lift is 79.9". The 4 place Ranger light bar accommodates 8" round or 7" x 5" rectangular off-road lights.
Equipped with a Stealth Recon Light Bar, the Stealth rack accommodates smaller lower profile lights providing a lower overall rack profile. The light bar is prefect for Rigid Industries SR and E series LED bars or PIAA 2100 series off-road lights. The overall height of a vehicle equipped with OEM tires and no lift is 78". The 4 place Stealth light bar accommodates 2.5" x 6" rectangular off-road lights. Custom racks can be ordered to fit 20" - 40" LED lights!
GOBI racks are highly customizable. Chose from the available styles, options and accessories for a rack that meets your unique requirements.
GOBI Jeep JK Roof Rack "Quick Release". The Gobi Jeep JK Quick Release is designed to provide tool free release of the Gobi Jeep JK roof rack from the Gobi JK light bar in less than 2 minutes for easy soft top removal or retraction.
The Gobi Jeep JK ladder bolts on to the rear of the Gobi roof rack and is designed to tilt back with the rack for soft top retraction. Now you can climb up to your roof rack for easier cargo loading with the use of the 250 lbs capacity ladder. Currently ladders are included for free
with rack purchases. Ladders are available for the passenger or driver side. The ladder on the left of the second image shows how the 2011+ ladders had to be refactored to accommodate larger hard top rear window.
