For those needing a cover, the rugged ridge one on Amazon fits perfect. Just pull the cord and rethread it so the logo faces your grill

^^ Call chris at the number he posted on the first post in this thread. He's pretty busy and probably won't check this much anymore. I'm sure he's still running the deal, awesome guy to work with too!

Definitely still running the deal and I'm most definitely awesome!

On the covers guys I now have access to some that are only $15 when you order a winch. No Engo logo covers, but they'll work!

Shipping to Sweden

Hi!

So happy I found this forum. Can you ship an Engo 12 k to Stockholm, Sweden and what would the price be? I need a plate to I guess? I have a Wrangler 4.0 Sahara from 1997 with tube bumper. Would also be interested i a synthetic line if available. I don't do off road that much but would like a winch just in case. Could also come in handy during winter in Stockholm (-25 - -30 Celsius last year).

I goofed up. First of all this winch works great. I used it to pull myself up a steep hill and it performed perfectly. Saved my ass but when I came back I went to go re-spool the wire. The E brake is shot so when I put the clutch down to start the jeep it rolled back and the cable popped out of the bracket! well I spent an hour trying to get the stupid thing back in. I recut the wire so it wasn't frayed and still can't get it to fit in the hole for that bracket. Am i doing something wrong? Am I missing something here?? I had to leave for school so I threw it in the shed till break. Any tips on how to get the steel cable back on? Thanks

Mine was no more than a 2 gauge battery cable lug end with a 1/4" hole, thats really all it takes as you should leave 4-5 wraps on the drum anyways. Just use a cut-off saw to leave a nice end to the cable and have some one with a battery cable crimper crimp a new lug on it for you.

Ahh thanks, so I'll just buy a new lug and screw that on. I kept trying to feed it into the one attatched and it's already crimped i guess. Stupid I didn't think of that >.< I wasn't pulling under pressure yet, it just undid itself and the weight of the jeep popped it out. Thanks!

Absorbed the cost when they gave us a bit of a price increase and this is a significant discount over retail cost and what is listed on our website as well. I hook Wrangler Forum members up whenever I can with great prices.

Just thought id let you guys know that because this winch is identical to the Rough Country winches, you can use the RC winch cover as well and turn the logo twords the grill,

And you can add a wireless winch controller to these as well, same controller and setup that is installed on and shipped with the Rough Country winches.

That is correct, the RC cover (along with some other ones that are a bit more expensive) can be used on this winch. I offer those (and other Rough Country products) for sale as well.

For those wanting a wireless remote for your winch, I would hold off on buying one at the moment from another manufacturer. Engo will be producing a "Plug-n-Play" wireless winch controller soon that is going to be a pretty sweet setup!

Would be coming out of Long Beach, WA. I don't have an option of delaying a shipment. Once it ships, what can be done is a "Hold at FedEx Location" which would allow you to pick it up at your local shipping store once you return.

youll have to let me know when that comes out, it will save me wiring the control in cab as I planned.

Is this deal still going on? If yes, I'd like to get the 10K version for $309, but I have a few questions that someone might could help with.

My wife does not like the winch mounted on top of the bumper (please don't harass me on this; lucky to have a Jeep ), so I have to do the winch mounted internally in the stock bumper. You've probably seen this on other posts in this forum done with different winches, but I'm not sure if it can be done with a 10K Engo. Has anyone ever done this with an Engo?

Chris my wife (Holly from NJ) said you were extremely helpful when she called you some time around the 13th! She said you did a great job picking out the right winch plate based her describing what my smitty built SRC looks like since she couldnt remember what its called! Thank you very much for helping her.

It can be done. I've had several customers send me pics after they did it. Looks great. You'll need the flat plate turned upside down and some extended battery cable for routing the cables (pick up the cable from your local auto parts place). Just give me a call and I can get you out the winch and plate.

I remember talking to her. I knew exactly what she was referring to since I used to run that bumper myself a couple of years ago. Glad I could help!
