Where do those of us that bought a winch before they had covers for sale find them to order them? I can't seem to find them on the site.

Chris my Engo just took a dump after 2 years of service. While re-spooling my Engo 9k today in the yard. I had pulled the line out with the clutch disengaged, I reengaged the clutch and put tension on the line, and attempted to start to wind the line in. The motor simply turned a very small amount and clunked like it was stuck. I checked the clutch again, but it was fine. I then tried to reverse the line and it worked for a few moments then stopped again. Both directions are now locked up. I checked electrical connections at the battery and visually inside the solenoid box, along with all other connection points and grounds. I will be using a volt meter to attempt to check the solenoids once I find a wiring diagram.

I'll keep you updated.

Got the replacement part sent within 2 hours of it breaking covered under mechanical warranty. It's at my house waiting to be installed when I get home and have time. But customer service has been wonderful with engo so far.

That's why I push the products as much as I do. There have been very very few problems and if there are, they stand behind their product like few other companies out there.

Yep, the new part looks good, gotta tear and down it replace is now. They even sent me some big ole stickers

Will get back with some details just incase anyone else has this issue here. I found quite a few instances of this same failure online, but I think??? I read that engo fixed whatever was causing/allowing the failure to possibly occur.

You are correct. There was a relatively small run of winches that came off the line and once it was brought to their attention, they fixed all the ones that hadn't sold yet and it was also addressed in all subsequent runs. Outside of that one instance (which didn't affect all of them, just some), they've been relatively problem free and compared to others on the market (and I sell them all), still the most reliable budget winch on for sale today.

Quotes sent to all who have requested.

I really got a lot of use out of mine until this happened so I am definitely happy with the product. Works great and very reliable. I just gota figure out how this darn part goes in and apparently set the brake timing right, then reinstall

I hopefully will do it tomorrow and will throw up a quick "how to" incase anyone else runs into trouble and needs to see how it's done.

Thank you for the write up Golden!

9K with synthetic line are out of stock at the moment, but I can still honor the $399 price of the 10K with synthetic line that I was giving last week as our deal of the week!

Do you know whether these will fit into the Mopar off road bumper? I've done some searching but haven't yet found an answer.

Know when the e9000s will be available? Do you sell any winch accessory kits (straps, blocks, etc) to go with?

Thanks
