You shouldn't have to drill any holes in the pinch seem. I have these installed and ran trails both days this weekend and they held up nicely. I did not drop directly on them but dragged them a few times. I had them powder coated at a local shop before JCR offered it.

Love the sliders

Received these sliders a while ago and figured I'd post up a pic of them installed. Took a while to get them rattled canned because weather here in NYC was miserable this winter/early spring.

Haven't taken them off-road yet.

I like the look and installation was easy.

How far do they stick out from the side of the tub? Are they effective as a step as well as a slider?

The video showed mounting with 6 screws in pinch weld seam. The screws "bolts" replace the ones that the rubi rails used. What if we don't have rubi rails we still need to drill the pinch weld seam? Very interested.

The mount holes in the pinch seam for rubi rails are present on all JKs.
