Smart to sell the carriers separately. Will definitely buy the full-width first, and the Shield carrier down the road a bit.

Any reason to buy a mid-width rear vs the full? I like how the full width adds corner protection.

If you have a current order for our older design, we will honor that order. If you would like to upgrade to the new designs, we can do that as well. The Crusader would be the closest thing we have to our older Crusader.

If you want to change your order, please call us asap; 269-353-1184.

Gotcha! Going to stick with my original order; the new is a bit too spendy at this time, but thanks!

although now looking at the LEDs that shipped, these may be too bright to be on for normal backup lighting...so maybe i'll just use as switched rear lights? Anyone have the JCR square LEDs installed?

I have received mine yet and I don't think many have. How bright are they?

If you are running the Cube lights, you will want to use the relay harnesses included. If you source you LED lights from another company, make sure they come with this harness (most of the el cheapo lights don't)!

You can do this three ways;
1.) Use the factory reverse wiring, which you can access through the taillight, to trigger the relay.
2.) Do what (1) says and add a switch over-ride to allow them to be turned on independently of reverse.
3.) wire them 100% separately from the reverse lights.

These cube lights are very bright. That doesn't mean they are not useable for a reverse light, it just means you'll be able to see better!

I received your cube lights...and I thought they may be quite bright, so I think option 3 would be best in my case, but I'll give #1 a quick try since that is accessible for a test easily enough.

The vanguard is nice! So is the adventure tire carrier. I think I've decided on my next mods as soon as I get back from deployment. Does the bumper allow you to keep the factory trailer hitch? Any rattle or flex with the adventure carrier setup?

Yes, works with factory hitch. No rattles on the carriers if everything is tight!
