Dave and I will be there tuesday for some JPi magic. We signed up for your group at Calico so ya gotta turn his jeep into a crawl monster. This time suspension, next time 5;13 gears, chromo's. Then take a short break to figure the next level . Dave's wife is stoked and loved the weekend so he is a happy camper.

I have an LJ with a 4 speed auto and 35" tires running 4.88 gears. It works great for me.

I have a tj with the auto, 4.88's and 35's wish I had gone 5.13. But he has a JKRU 4 door. Lots more weight to lug up hill.

Yeah, Thats a common complaint with the 42 if your running stock gears. You probably dont use OD at all, at least not much. Your 3rd gear is 1.0 and is probably closer to where it wants to be. A regear will make a big difference.

The AW4 im having put in has .75 OD which will put it close to my current .78 5th gear...so im hoping it will be good on the highway.

Should only be a few rpm different but an AW4 is a nice choice to go from stick to auto with. I love my trans when I am in rocks compared to my YJ which was a stick.

I don't know about Jerry cans, but something could probably be made for a Rotopax combination.

You think that was them? Or could it be a weak part from the manufacturer? I would prefer it break on its way to me rather than on me on the trail. Not saying those delivery guys are angels. That's a steel rotor though.

Sorry, just thinking out loud.

No, one of the hold down straps broke during shipping, and the diff hit the rotor which was in a box inside the big diff box. They already sent me a new one.

I'm working diligently on it now, all of our friends on here will be well informed of this fun filled event.
The electricians did a spectacular job. And they're jeepers!

That's a fireplace, I want my customers to feel at home, wether they're waiting on their jeep or shopping for their jeep. It will be a comfortable place to hang out.
A hot tub....that could be some fun!

Hi Stan
Dave was wondering when the new Poison Spider rear bumper is going to be available? I think you sold him on it. Do you think we can hang a 35 in the stock holder for just a bit till it's ready?
Bob

It's not out yet, I'm waiting for it too. But meanwhile, you can mount the 35 on the gate, as I did on my '12 until the bumper is out.

Gunner- wanna play in the dirt tomorrow? Jone-sing- and seeing as how Stan isn't exactly up to it.... I missed the last Calico run due to alarm clock malfunction. Last Chance is too far given the play offs tomorrow. I can drag my husband out- but I have to be back by the Patriots game.
