Hey Stan, any chance you stock the antitheft hardware for the rigids, bud? If not I'll make a trip, but figured Id check with ya first. Feeling less and less comfortable parking the rig with such easily accessible nuts to remove the lights. Let me know if you got some xl shirts too. Thx, K.

So, needless to say he's going to be anxiously ramping up the hunt. Being the neighborhood Jeep guy, they've asked me to give some advice, keep my eyes peeled and if possible, take a look at a few top prospects with him.

I've agreed, as I'm happy to help a neighbor AND a fellow (or in this case future-fellow) Jeeper, but I may also suggest to them that if they find "the one", they should take it to a good shop for a once over on the mechanics of it. Is that something you would take on at JPI? If so can you please give me an idea of the cost so I can tell them to budget for it? PM me if you'd like.

Thanks Stan!

For anyone else reading, he is likely looking for a TJ. Something with a little style and function - a small lift and 33's would probably suit him well. The cleaner and lower the mileage, the better obviously. His budget is in the $14k range. If anyone knows someone selling something nice, please send me a PM.

Thanks all!

Joe
I know this is a long way from where you are, but I saw this here in town and then saw it on Craigslist. It's a nice Jeep and was set up for a College kid, the stereo and nice wheels.

Kraig, I'll have more Tuesday morning. We installed 3 sets of rigids Friday so I'm out.

Yeah, it might be a little far for him but I will pass it along, nonetheless. It is right in the category of what he's looking for. Thanks!

It's never too far for a Jeep

My Husband is driving 4 hours South tomorrow to pick up a couple goodies from Stan and a new Jeep

Stan, Mike should be there between 11-12 tomorrow. I think he's planning on heading out about 7am and taking 166 to the 5 -210 in order to miss the Santa Barbara commute traffic. He has your card and directions so he should be set. Thank you again for making the brackets.

Lisa

I was just looking at those Stan. They attach to the holes on the hard top rail?
BY THE WAY I don't know if its coincidence but I've had 3 compliments on the jeep since you put on the 35s. I guess it's all about size LOL.

AO Coolers

Ok friends, as soon as the coolers came out of the boxes, the only Camo colors were sold! I ordered more right away, and ill have more in a week or so. Thanks for all your input, these coolers do rock!
Jen, these don't attach to anything specifically, but have straps to attach where you want for the most part. The back packs are cool, and the new sto n go units are real nice for the back of your jeep.

Looks awesome! Mikes got a bunch of horns and different mounts that would look good up there

On another note, I've been looking at the Poison Spyder rockbrawler rear bumper & tire carrier. Have you had good experience with it? Mike likes it and since everything else on the TJ is Poison Spyder I know it would match.

Thanks Lisa!
Yes, we have installed quite a few of the Rockbrawler rear on the TJs, rock solid construction, smooth operation of the tire carrier, it even has wheel Bearings for the tire carrier swing. Great attention to detail on these.

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm thinking Mike should have just towed the Jeep to your place, lol.

There are a couple things we will want to change and do to it, but overall it really was a good buy.

I just despise the Warn bumper and tire carrier, it's exactly the same one I had on my 02 TJ and hated it then. It didn't sag on the 02, I had a 31" spare. I just didn't like it overall, on this one with the 35" spare it does sag.

I told Ronda that she could have it for her Jeep. It's in good shape and I know she will get good use out of it. Plus she's not running a 35" spare so it shouldn't sag for her.

My Rock Hard on the JKU is so easy and smooth, that's how they all should be.
