Hey Stan. If you happen to get the pssr underseat plates done today, bring it with the ARB to FF & ill buy em from you this weekend. Definately no rush, so if you don't ill plan on picking up next week. I'm planning on taking it to nightscape for PC. If you want me take any extras, let me know. Thx.

Stan, once you get settled back in and have a minute can you give me a price on the front Currie anti-sway setup for the 03 TJ?

Mike was interested in that and a front locker, I told him the locker may have to wait a bit unless he sells his dirt bike soon. If that happens I'll hit you up for a price on it.

Thanks,
Lisa

Tell him to just get a lunchbox locker...its cheaper than the Currie sway bar haha.

I don't know about that, I'm not real familiar with them. I do remember my dad talking about it in an old Jeep and not liking it, I don't remember why.

I like being able to turn mine on and off as needed. You can turn easier with it off.

In the front? In the rear, itd be understandable since they are pretty poorly behaved, not so much for the front though. Ive been running one for about a year and cant complain. At $250 new they are hard to beat. Most people tend to like them. Plus, they are easy to put in. I think my buddy and I installed it in about an hour.

I havent noticed much difference since installing the lunchbox. In tight turns offroad I feel like I get more feed back than usual, but not necessarily a harder to turn steering wheel. I havent ran into a place where I could have made a turn if I didnt have the locker installed though. Its all persobal preference though I guess.

That's what we have in the back, it took me a little to get used to it. Driving in town is where I've noticed it the most, I was just thinking if I had to get used to the front acting the same I might not like it.

At least it's not a daily driver, so really it may be the way to go for now. I can chirp the tires taking off from stop lights, lol. Get some odd looks since it is a Jeep

It wouldnt act like that at all in the front. As long as power isnt applied to the front (aka 2wd) it will be pretty much invisible on the road (except for some ratcheting noises here and there). As soon as you shift into 4wd, power is applied and the locker begins to work its "point and go" from there.

Will it work with it being full time 4-wheel drive and having the Atlas 2?

What do you mean by full time? Like it's on all the time? Can you turn that off? Not too familiar with the Atlas fucntionality, so I don't know if you can turn it off. I know that the transfer case in the cherokee we are building for King of the hammers (EMC), has the option of 2WD, 4HI (part-time), 4HI (full-time), and 2LO (part-time).

Basically any time the front axle is receiving power, the locker is working (locking). The more power it receives, the harder it locks. But if it has full time, as in, its on while on the road too...I would say the lunchbox won't work in your situation.

(Sorry for the thread jack stan )

Great Mo, it was good to see you at Forest Fest and the shop. Did all the fittings work out for you?

HI Stan-
I need to have my rear brake lines done (extended) and pick up the tires. What day is good for you? I am going to rent a little UHaul so I don't have to make two trips for the tires. How long do you think the brake lines will take?

The brake lines will take a little over an hour, and if you don't have them, I've got Crowns in stock
