Nice Bob, looked like a great day on the trail. It does feel good when the equipment comes together. There was a pause in the vid, I bet you were at least tempted to do the waterfall...

Hey Hi.
To the right, after the ledge. Yep I thought about it but my buddy who is a MUCH better Off road driver than me had to get pulled off, so I passed. I need to rack up some seat time before I become the guy who gets stuck all the time. But not for long. I'm too competitive.

Yeah, Dishpan is fun! I've only done it once, but anxious to do it again. I didn't do the 'big waterfall', but fun to watch others do it.

The guy in the green shirt who was the spotter was in line behind me. He has a 05 Sahara Rubi LJ. He took the far right line and walked right up the whole right side to where we were parked. He's like a mountain goat in that jeep.

The videos make it look like a little bump in the trail!

So just a "thanks" to Stan and the crew for helping out- even when they don't do the work! Installed our "other company" rockers ourselves this weekend. Not for the faint of heart- or those weary of drilling holes into your Jeep. Trust me- pay Jeep Performance.
Even though Stan wasn't doing the work- he gave us some great advice in advance on the install. Worked like a charm- thanks Stan!

Its always scary to drill holes in your nice jeep... the old saying is measure it twice and drill it once...in those situations I measure it 10 times and drill it once

It looks great!

Hey guys. Just got back from doing Odessa and Wall Street. I had a blast and the compliments on how the Jeep worked just kept coming all day long. Articulation, power, smoothness. Also it's ability to hang a front wheel in outer space. Pic's to follow. I get my sliders out monday from the powder coater. I know who's putting them on. I'll call you and get a time to come over. Want some of the rubber backing if you think it is worth it. BTW Scot was there making big JPI noises and I wore my TShirt. Dang this is so much fun.

It's great to hear you and Scott had a good time, and your jeeps performed as expected. I'll be at calico in the beginning of December to test some new suspension, and do a little R&R.
The rubber behind the sliders keeps the small rocks and dirt out of your sliders, and works well. And there is a rubber molding that can be installed too that is less expensive.
Thanks Bob, and see you soon.
Stan

I need to stop by before my next trip. Since I did my wheels it keeps hitting the sway bar disconnect on the right side.

LOVE the new wheels! I've done John Bull and Bullfrog and they make a HUGE difference. Definitely glad you talked me out of 315 / 75 / 16.

Pic is from Bullfrog yesterday. Donbadabon in the background.

Looks like you guys had a good run. I didn't get my caliper back together until 10 am or so. Next time.
Stop by and I'll look at it Rick.

It was a great run! Definitely more difficult than John Bull. Bullfrog was the most difficult wheeling I've done.

There were many obstacles that when approaching, I didn't see how we were going to make it over. Much higher risk for flops/rollovers. Sure enough, like the JB run, spotting was key. Our only casualty was one BFG MT (Don). Other than that, some minor rail scrapes which is normal.
