The 69 Bronco project had the attention today, prepping the rear diff for the four link, cutting off of unwanted steel and brackets, and grinding the control arm mounts to fit the 9" rear end nice and tight. Having coil suspension front and rear will really open up this Broncos ability to flex!

The rear control arms on 'Yella are coming together after all the calculations needed For raising the mounts on the frame and axle up and out of rock damages way. Next is the third link mods to the RJ diff, and then the CO mounts for the rear.

Nice work. I really enjoy watching things come together at your place. Too bad I'm so far away. I'd make a great retired Shop Gofer.

Stan told me he's going to open a shop in Huntington Beach.

Just wishful thinking on my part.

More Bronco progress today, Jeremy had the four link close to final weld, and we had to install the rear tires to get ride height...and maybe to get a preview of the finished look!

You have 60's now so the gears won't be so thin like in a 44, right?

Stan, do you also upgrade the brakes to stop the rotating mass of 40's?

Miles Bronco had the rear drum system removed to make room for the new disc brake conversion, and we have another pile of metal to send to scrap

Two trans cooler installs, one on the supercharged JK, the other on Yella. Keeping the JK trans cool is very important, and more so when your out wheeling in four low. We use stainless line and high quality AN fittings for a leak free system.

Auto Trans coolers have to be a good call for low gear wheelin at high temps...those AN fittings and line are not cheap!

I try to focus on creating a truly capable JK, without cutting corners, and without adding up the parts prices. But in the back of my mind, I've got a running total. It's a sickness!

The 69 Bronco had the front suspension mostly installed today, tomorrow is the front disc brake conversion, shock towers, tie rod/drag link, and brake hydraulics.
