The orange powdercoat matched almost perfect with the Orange Crush on Jims JKUR. Next sport age install: a Poison Spyder tig welded unit.

I was talking to Matt? at UCF today about my tummy tuck for the TJ and he said JPi was a great place to have mine done. Just though you ought to know a supplier is selling your work for you.

Stan and crew were kind enough to fab this very cool bracket to mount a swivel jack on my trailer. Awesome attention to detail on even the smallest parts. Thanks Stan!

Thanks so much Travis, glad we could help. I wanted to post a pic of your jeep/trailer combo, but you were gone when I returned.

Kyles TJ had some trail carnage from the Meet and Greet, and along the way we noticed the antirocks were binding on suspension droop. We cut out the area around the arm and gained 2.5" of suspension travel! The LCA mounts were then repaired and skids welded on to prevent this issue in the future.

i wish there was a JK skid , similar to this where the tubing / brackets are "skinned" with the primary plate(aluminum , of course) . Looks old-school 'Jeepspeed' desert racer cool. Your logo on it is the icing on the cake and and I am sure the TJ owner will be pleased. You do really nice , professional work.Your shop is awesome ; I do all of my own work as there are about as many trustworthy, competent, Jeep savvy fabrication mechanics - or shops in middle Tennessee as there are surfboards and fish Taco stands . If I were in SoCal , I would bring you guys my tough projects, fer certain!

Thank you for the compliments. We try to fill a niche where others miss. While we are working on jk skids and many other jk upgrades, the weight of the jk is a huge factor when making under armor. So Cal is great for Jeepin!

Just out of curiosity and strong desire to have one for myself, a couple a quick questions on the skid you have ( obviously) fabricated for this TJ;
(a) you DID design and make that for the owner, yes?
(b) Do you offer a similar design for a JK engine-tranny (auto 42RLor) skid solution ?
(c) if (a) + (b) = true , & as I know you have a JK yourself , does possibility of having one made up there in Southern Cali and shipped for self-install in Tennessee ( nashville) ? If so, any idea of the cost for the skidplate?

can you tell I really like that skidplate ?

We are working on a TJ design that can be shipped and installed by the owner. The issue that we have with this is making one design work with different types of aftermarket T case skids. The jk unit is in the development stages.

I just saw your homepage - yeah, you guys know what you're doing. Super quality and skill.
Yeah, I am finding a massive void in the products available for JK skids ; you either have the low end 3/16" chinese steel (sort-of-protective) skids or you have entire KoH ready , comp aluminum boxed aluminum skid ' systems' that tack ANOTHER grand of aftermarket part investment into an already costly JK ; the T&T or Nemesis or RiverRaider ones are sort of overkill for the DD who wheels hard 4-10 times per month . Plus, and as a JK owners , we both know it is always all-about weight , the Unlimited vehicle w/ larger tires and other add-ons needs , like half inch aluminum if you go with that material or it is going to last all of 2 years or , if you do go cheap Rugged-Ridge steely , the mounting brackets always seem to be the weak-cautionary point if they do not use the frame to mount to.
I appreciate your reply ; I just saw that TJ skid and was like " I must have one like that for my JK" first thing this morning.

So ljorange and I were talking about our Rubicon trip in August, and were thinking how easy it would be to eat dehydrated food on the trail instead of cooking, so we decided to have a dinner party consisting of nothing but hikers food. Actually, it was pretty good. A little pricy, but good, right down to the dessert.
