Hey Stan- did you cut the holes in that Evo skid? I have the same one- spaced it out & tried exhaust wrap but it's still rattling.
Can you PM me a price for the rear LCA skids welded on my JK ? Have you ever added a lower shock mount skid? If you prefer me to bring it in to take a look I can do that. Just need to start putting money in the Jeepy bank.

LOL You must have been posting when i was typing. Cant wait to see daves jeep when he and linda pick it up. He/we are so very happy with what you have done to our jeeps. Jeeping has given him and i back our mobility. We can enjoy nature and be outdoors again. Thanks to you guys. I know it sounds cheesy but it really has changed our outlook and the wives are loving the fact that we are mobile again.

Doesn't sound cheesy to me at all Bob, being 62 and getting back out in the dirt feels awesome to me and can't wait to get back to Cali and out to the trails.

Thank You Bob, we really appreciate your support and all the kind words and recommendations in the Jeep community. Dave really liked his new fenders, and Linda had a big smile too!

And where did Dave's stock fenders go?
(Specifically, the rear passenger fender)...

She's going back together nicely, gears going in, suspension only waiting for limit straps and front springs, RV tow bar finished. Almost there Tim!

Our new shop truck, how fitting for JPi! A 1965 J200. I'm thinking a Rock Lobster paint job, axles TBA, Chevy LS, 6L80E trans, and a JPi four link system.

Yeah Baby, Gladiator power. Those things are sick. But not Rock Lobster. Too trendy. Altho Mango Tango rocks. I'm thinking Yella needs a big brother that is something bright. Maybe Prerunner style. Or total GI Joe. OD green camo. Wow My father in Law had one with a Pro built 401 in it. It was a beast. Two tone paint and tuck and roll interior. Ya lucky dawg. Nope just hit me. It's smog exempt. You gotta drop in a Cummins turbo 6 with an auto. No smog just massive torque. Take out motor and trans. on 40's. It would be every guys dream truck.

Thanks for the suggestions Bob. The cummins is an option I'm looking at, the paint is not decided, just throwing it out there

Someday when we finish our 68 GTO I will have ghost flames on it

When I worked at the body shop I sat for 2 hours and watched our paint guy tape an Impala for them, what a talent. They were gorgeous and in a beautiful white on a grey pearl base. It stuck in my mind

Me too! Lol, it's been put on the back burner several times. Frame, engine, suspension is done. Had the brakes converted to disc and that's as far as it's gotten. We need to just bite the bullet and get it to our friend Steve, he does custom cars/bikes.

Hopefully sometime this year.

400 and a turbo-hydromatic 3 speed with the manual option. My mom bought it off the showroom floor in 68.

Ya, someday Caleb will be cruising it. It may be done by the time he drives, only 15 years to go.
