Tim was thru with the bent tie rods, so we installed this new Rock Krawler 1 5/8" beauty on his Pro Rock 44 front end. Even though we had to machine the right heim to clearance the Reid Knuckles, this tie rod worked out great.

Does the rock krawler tie rod bolt directly to the factory knuckle, or do you have to ream it also? That tie rod is beefy. What's your price?

This ultra clean, restored to use, CJ came to the shop today. I like the antique Coors bottle opener on the front bumper!

Sounds like they need to use 7075-T6 aluminum, or go to titanium!!!!

Even if it was steel it would be so much stronger. The lip is pretty thin. I think as a light duty. Maybe medium duty these things are pretty good. After taking it apart I see the weak spots. But it is all fixable. Then I can pound on them.

And you will for sure!! I knew you would find the weak points, now to get the manufacturer to upgrade those parts to take it!
