Took advantage of a Saturday, and got some work done on Yella.. AntiRock going on, bent and welded on some slider/bumper mounts/AntiRock skids to the front end. My AntiRock mounts are billet aluminum, so I'd prefer the rocks stay clear of them. Then mounted a Viair 450c inside the engine compartment to keep up with the new tire combination. Oooops, I mean I want to air up faster!

Dans LJ made a stop at JPi today for some skid TLC. Since the company that made this skid didn't care to make one for autos and one for stick tranny, we rebuilt it to tuck up higher and have a smooth transition to the tc skid. With some creative tube bending, and some 6061-T6 aluminum work, Kevin made a real effective skid. Nice work Kevin.

Ricks LJ is just about ready for the trails. Gears, axles, RK lift, Trail Ready bead locks, Goodyear 35" MTRs, on board air, locker compressor re-locate, and PSC rock sliders...it's going to be a very capable LJ!

I've been looking at an upgrade to the EVO bolt on coilovers. What is your take on those?

It's an inexpensive way to go coil over

What I like about your shop is the attention to detail, and the ability to innovate and do one-off work. Keep it coming, look forward to getting my JK back in better shape!

Ricks LJ had the factory locker compressors relocated to the engine compartment, this gets them out of the dirt, rocks and water.
