Arrow JK Upper Control Arm Kit! DIY

These take your weak and hardly flexible upper links and make them strong AND Highly Flexible!

KIT INCLUDES:
•2--14" of 1.5" X .25" wall DOM tubing
•2--3/4" X 3/4" Bore Heat & Cryo Treated Chromoly Heims
•2--3/4" Tube Adapters (1" Tube ID)
•2--3/4" Jam Nuts
•4--3/4" to 1/2" Stainless Steel Misalignment Spacers

This kit is designed for two things. The first is it comes with 2 pieces of 1.5" x .25" DOM tubing to sleeve over your existing upper link arm and make it a lot stronger than stock. The second is it comes with two 3/4" heims to replace the upper bushings and allow your suspension to flex more than it had before.

Notes: The OD of your stock link is powder coated and might need to be ground off a little to slide the DOM over it.

Welding is required and should be done by a professional.

Here is what you start with and how to go about it!



You replace this bushing end with the Heim Joint...



And you put the pieces together and end up with this!



Weld'em and get more articulation and less expectation of bending them

If yours are already bent just cut them off shorter. The tube you use to replace the factory 1" x .120" wall is 1.5" x .25" wall and almost 3.5 times stronger so cutting them off shorter would never be a problem.

6 months but finally got them in. Nailed the stock spec .. Holes lined right up
I planned on running the seals pic'd earlier. The problem.... The washer the rubber is bonded to is .050 think. Twice that = .100 too wide for the factory mount. It's ok .. I'm going to grab 4 spacers and machine them down -.050
Is it possible RS to use a hex bung to make it easier to hold the arm/orientate joint and tighten?
Huge PIA To tighten the jam nut.

That's a good call, I will have Dave change it to use a hex bung. On the Seal? I am not at all sure what you are talking about? These have no seal surface?

Sorry I missed this.

The aftermarket seal I tried to run (Seals-it) The rubber is bonded to a .050 washer. Together x2 widens the width .100.

on the Hex bung

Update, the uppers arms alone stabilized the front axle which surrounds the heck out of me. I highly Recommend the kit or pre made arms.
