*NEW*River Raider Short Expedition Snorkel

All I can say is "awesome". This is the snorkel that JK owners have been waiting for. Evergreen Off-Road is proud to be an authorized dealer for River Raider so please PM us or send an email to sales@evergreenoffroad.com for special pricing on this sweet new snorkel system. Available options include hard line kit, color match paint and 18" extension.

River Raider is proud to offer the all new Expedition snorkel kit for the JK Wrangler. This River Raider exclusive cowl design for the JK Wrangler is similar to snorkel systems found on the military H1 Hummers. The Expedition snorkel is the ultimate cold air intake system. It offers excellent water crossing capabilities while allowing the use of almost any roof rack or auxiliary lighting system on the market today. This snorkel kit comes complete with stainless steel hardware, instructions, templates, everything you need to modify your factory air box into a sealed unit. All parts are formed from steel and come with a durable baked on powder coated finish. Protect your investment and expand your Wranglers off-road capabilities today with the Expedition snorkel kit from River Raider Off Road.

The only thing I don't like is that the short one is too low. Yes the long one is nice, but the problem is it takes some of the view away. I'd rather go for the other snorkels that ride along the side of the windshield.

I wish because there would be one in the mail for my rig as we speak. Keep in touch with me and I'll try and poke at RR for a TJ release date.

That makes sense. Some will like it and some won't. .

I don't see when you'll be up to your windshield in water very often... Unless you cross rivers often?

I think they are perfect! Bring on the TJ version.

I'll take that back what I said, but yes I did ride though deep water (up to the lower portion of the windshield on my TJ that I used to have). My apologies to Evergreen4x4 if i sounded rude. It looks awesome, but i was really looking for something else.. Thanks..

No apology needed!! . We all need to provide our opinions and feedback. We can all learn from feedback and maybe even gain a different perspective from time to time.

I am an authorized dealer for the manufacturer and the first release of this product was only for the JK. Believe me when I say that I will keep all of you up to date on the release of the TJ, YJ or any other model that they decide to make this setup for.

Are they two different models or can you just slip on the longer tube if you are planning to go in really deep? Seems like that would be a cool feature, keep it low and out of the way/visablity and if you do plan to cross something really deep, throw on the extension tube. If not, that's my suggestion to the manufacturer . . . they can PM me for my address on where to send the check!!!

would be pretty easy to fab/bend a different angled tube if that's what you wanted. Even if you don't have the equip I'm sure a muffler shop would charge very little to bend one for you.

The kit is one model and you DO have the option of slipping the 18" extension on at your convenience. Also, just to let everyone know, the extension will come with a black powder coat finish. The picture above was a shot of the extension before the black powder coat was applied.

Ok, me and a friend thought more about this.. Product looks good, but it would be better to move the snorkel to the side of the Jeep.. Right now, its blocking the windshield from folding down, and the hood to lean all the way back against the windshield. For those out there that don't care about all that. My advise, get it!
