I'll take a blacked out pair for a 2010!!! I backed into and knocked over a 2012 Ducati Streetfighter S because I had no mirrors.

Got a green light on the powder coated end cap and bracket. Should have pics of the prototype tomorrow. I'm thinking $65 for a powder coated black out set.

Thinking about building some tube style doors. How hard can it be? Weld some steel tubing together in a rugged looking fashion, powder coat, ball game. (of course no where near ready to take orders, just an experiment.) anything new that you all would like to see in a tube style door?

Ron I'll certainly give you a call Saturday. I had to work today and soon as I got home, I had to install my new Spal waterproof radiator fan. The install was very easy to do. The fan appears to be pretty tough. We will see how it holds up to my water abuse! (also installed a cut off switch in my glove box for fording) My stock fan was very near death.

They're great. I drove with them on at 70 MPH and they didn't move at all. Really great!

Naturally I'm slightly biased because I sell them but in all honesty I love them too. Mine don't move either.

There are two screws on the back of the mirror itself, I loosen them all a little when I build them to make positioning easier. They can be snugged down to prevent any wind wiggle ;-)

Its more a combination of wind, and rough construction going on. they are widening the freeway between Santa Rosa and Petaluma, been at it for 3 years, lots of bridges to rebuild. Because of this, at 75, they wiggle just enough to be useless, at lower speeds they are ok.
My stiff as hell suspension multiplies everything like 10 times, and I know why they arent selling this lift kit anymore (Dick Cepek military wrapped 3.5" spring under lift).
Its not your mirrors, its my vehicle, dont worry, I am swapping to Waggy springs, and im sure that will cure 98% of my issues!

Love my mirrors, was the excuse I needed to take my doors off the 01 Sahara I bought a month ago! Didn't move even when crossing over a mountain trail Saturday. The wife hates it when the doors are off, so I'm game for some tube doors to make her happy. I'd love to see a set with tan padding to match the roll bars on my green/tan Sahara (or at least painted tan) as everything on the market is black.

Hmmmm, I'm sure I could do that. I have been in contact with the powder coat shop down the road. Between them and myself maybe I could even throw some green in there too! Say the word and I will start the prototype
