Great news to everyone! The production run on the rear bumpers has started and the completed product should be shipping in around three weeks.

For some reason, this pic came up when I googled "teaser pics".

I won't be able to get any good pics until a week before they're released unfortunately, but I promise as soon as I have them in hand, I will be posting them.

Just a quick question regarding the bull bar and stinger......since they're bolted on, would you guys say that this attachment method is stronger or weaker than if they were welded on? I guess it really depends on the weld, but saying it's a good weld, how would the bolt-on compare? I'm thinking of getting the stinger mainly for front-end protection from deer.

A deer would not fair well in a contest with the stinger. I would say that the way it is bolted on it just as strong as traditional weld in types due to surface contact area. A welded stinger is just the first step in building a truly functional anti-endo on the trail protection. The way a stinger needs to be setup to keep your Jeep sitting on its nose is to not only tie in to the bumper, but also an additional bracing point on the frame. I currently have the front shorty and stinger in stock here in KY.

You have a shorty AND stinger in stock?? Oh great.....you DIDN'T need to tell me that!!!

Ok, one more question....can you tell me how far out from the grill this bumper sits? Just wanna make sure it won't look funny w/o a winch. It looks fine in the pics, but I just want measurements.

Yep, in stock and ready to go!

I don't have the measurements with it installed unfortunately, but I can say that LOD designed this bumper to be multi-purpose and have great looks with and without a winch.

Here's a couple of pics that might be helpful though. The first is the midwidth with bull bar, but gives a good representation of how far the bumper comes out with the side view. Second would be your combo.

Just a question - why are the bull bars that people received shorter than the bull bar in the press shot? Seems like the actual bull bar is about 3-4 inches shorter than the one in the marketing pics.

This is the link for their front bumpers, in which this thread was originally started for. Somewhere along the way it was mentioned that LOD was about to bring out the rear Armor Lite series. That's the one some are currently asking about. It's still not on their site and it's been a few months since it was brought up in this thread that LOD was coming out with it.

Didn't even know this thread was for the front... Good job pointing that out. The front looks great in person by the way and super light weight.

The rear bumper/tire carrier is supposed to be available after the SEMA show closes. We'll see . . .

Thanks erfoster, but those are the Signature Series bumpers that have been around for quite a while. What we all want to see is the brand new Armor Lite series rear bumpers.

Crap, I didn't notice it was a different series bumper. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up. I'm looking forward to this as well, I really like the front bumper.

I ordered the mid width front bumper from Chris a few days ago... He was a pleasure to deal with!!! He helped me find what best suited me at a price I could afford... I'm waiting for it to arrive... Will let you all know the outcome...
