5.97 is kicking it. I am sure looking hard at one of these later in the build.

Yeah I noticed this keeps happening in threads, yet they leave the offenders posts alone.

I enjoy following this thread, cant really add anything ever, but I will ask for the 3rd time since it is relevent to the thread...

Ripp, how long is the coupon code good for?

That thing sounds alot sweeter than I thought the first time I saw a clip. BTW do you know that this thing is cheaper than storing a baby's cord blood? Ask me how I know... Still working on refining my argument of how this benefits our family is neseccary, instead of just a toy to bolt to my toy...

I am working on the same argument / discussion.

However, our cord blood costs were only about half of what a RIPP supercharger costs, heh. Just paid it a couple months ago.

Why not do dyno runs before and after with no other changes ? Keep everything else (tires) stock.

A little more peace of mind is invaluable!

Anyways, made my first pass at the sc question. The questions started with, "Aren't those expensive?" and ended with, "I still don't understand why we would need it.".... These things take time.

Start with the better gas mileage stuff. Then come home one day and tell her how you almost got rear ended trying to get up to speed getting on the highway lol

Ripp, small suggestions. replace the cheap band clamps with T bolt clamps, a $7000 kit should use quality hardware and prevent any chance of boost leaks.

And chance you could get the intercooler black colored? that shinny intercooler clashes with the look of the jeep. if you want the stock stealth look that is.

I don't know anything about the clamps , but the stealth intercooler is a good suggestion.

If I ordered. The kit can I get the intercooler with mat black finish ? Like the 3.8 call of duty's one

We have been using these same clamps for over years with no problems at all, they are stainless steel and have worked fine over the last 3000+ Kits we have sold. BTW, it's $6,000.00

You can option for the black intercooler if you so wish.

Well You could always try the " We didn't need a baby, but we had one anyway and it's way way more expensive than a supercharger.".. Then duck and cover.

Damn I want this... why? No good reason beyond the fact that I'd get stiff every time I hit the gas!

For some strange reason, though, that wasn't enough to convince the wife...

I'm sure it's a good product but I don't see the need for a Wrangler with that type of power.

If anything, I think it would be dangerous.

These things are made for trails and rock crawling, not the track.

They are scary enough past 70 MPH as they are.

For 6 grand you could get a few year old Mustang GT and blow the doors of off the blown Jeep and safely at that! Add Nitro and the Jeep would be a tiny dot in the rear window.

I just don't get it!!

It worked.!

Well, kinda. Had to waive my right to the new shotgun (UTS15), and RC car that I was about to buy. Also, after waiting for my dirty dog straps for three months, they had just recently sent me an email saying that they forgot my order or some such bs. So no straps, guns, or toys.... but a little more snort out of the Jeep!

Found this before and after demo by one of their customers. Not done by Ripp. Pretty impressive results.

So a Ripp 3.8 is slower than a stock 3.6?

Would like to see penta video like that. Obviously a jeep isnt normally built for racing. I like to go when i hit the gas.

I am thinking of getting one for my bday/xmas gift to myself at the first of the year.
