I may be interested in the 2012 ADA System. I'm just concerned about the 33% Duty Cycle. How does that translate to me? I run 35s and air from 15psi to 30psi.

The 33% duty cycle will be plenty of run time to do everything you need to do. Keep in mind, that duty cycle is rated @ 100 PSI. When running at a lower 30 PSI, you can run the compressor appx. 30-35 minutes before needing a rest. I have personally ran them this long. That will be way more than enough to fill the tires and even a friends tires if you wanted to.

I have more people go with 33% than 100% once I explain that the 33% will be more than enough. The trade off of going with a 100% duty is speed. They run slower, so they can run longer.

Hope this info helps.

I'll be looking into this deal.

Head up, there are a couple VB code typos causing your links to not work in the last two product listings. Just fyi

The more people that order, the better the discount gets. I will post on here as to the number of people that have ordered.

Besides the obvious, what is the difference between the top couple of systems, and a system with a tank? Is one better than the other? Why are the tankless systems more expensive?

Thanks!

All systems use the same compressor, but in different configurations. The Economy OBA systems just comes with the basic components for the OBA, and does not include a fill hose, wiring or mounting bracket.

The first two ADA systems, will include everything you need. It comes with a wiring harness, mounting bracket & fill hose with tire inflation gun. The ADA systems does have a small reservoir to allow for air locker usage. It is set at the right pressure of 105 PSI and has the BSP fittings for the locker solenoids.

It all depends on what works best for your applications. The tank will give you a head start on the first tire, but then you will be running off the compressor just like the ADA units. The tank does allow for air tool usage, where this won't be possible with the ADA (first 2 systems) because the reservoir is too small.

Hope this info helps.
If you have more questions, don't hesitate to let us know.

How do the ADA systems hold up to under hood temps?

They hold up no problem, since the hood is open when filling tires. It will allow more air flow when running the compressor to air up the tires.

Hood up is not a requirement is it? I want to plumb my system to the front and rear bumpers and would never plan on popping the hood.

Honestly, it would probably be Ok if you are just filling up your 4 tires vs. yours and a buddy's or something like that. I haven't tried doing all 4 tires with the hood down, but I think it would be Ok.

Yes, I will. Just need committed orders during this month to add to the count. All orders will be ship out first week of October.

I will post in this thread, as well update the first post in this thread as well. Just let me know if you want to take part, as the more orders, the cheaper it gets for everyone.

So, can the "hood down" issue be improved by remote mounting the air filter near the front grill? My understanding is that the kits include a remote mount air filter extension.

Yes, the kit will include a remote mount filter with hardware necessary to do so. But this will not help with the situation, as the ambient temperature underneath the hood will still effect the compressor, but very little.

Also wanted to post a little more detail on how we are working the discount. Since we won't know for sure until the end of the month, we will be taking 50% deposits on all orders. When we have a final count for the month, then we will charge the remaining balance that reflects the discount for how many people ordered.

Let me know if anybody is ready, and we will get started. 5% discount isn't bad to begin with, but seems like there is a lot of interest in this, so I am sure it will get better than that.

Just wanted everybody to know I ordered a 400H from Travis (wanted it for next weekend).

1) He mentioned the special, which I hadn't known anything about!
2) When I told him I didn't want to wait for the end of the month, he still gave me the 5% off!
3) It arrived the NEXT day! (Not sure how that's even possible. I am in SoCal, it didn't have to travel far...)

Travis, thank you. Will play this weekend.

Pics to come.

p.s. Mounted under hood in an LJ for 35" tires - seems to work very nicely.

Thanks Tait!
Be great to see pictures and thanks for the order and good words! Even though this didn't technically fall under this special for the month, since it shipped and processed right away, I will put it towards the count to get things started.

So far, we have one committed order for this monthly special.

Here's a picture of my brand new 400H installed in engine compartment, on the driver's side, just aft of the wash fluid reservoir. (No whole-jeep pictures - it needs a bath first).

It went in really easily. It comes with the wires and even crimp-on ends for attaching to the battery and ground.

By making my own install plate, I didn't have to drill into the jeep to install. I used a sheet of 3/32" thick aluminum, and drilled 3 holes in it, matching existing holes in the wheel-well, (2 of which are visible as the shiny bolts here). I also had a hole hole in the back, passenger's side corner that required a 0.95" spacer as a stand-off.

Quick review based on this last weekend (no relationship with the company):

It works great. It does the job, and is fairly quiet. I aired down for the offroading and then aired up again when done. I did not time it, but it felt like about 2 or 3 minutes per tire.

Also, the coil hose is really nice, (so nice that my dad is thinking of buying one for his Warn compressor). It has a good deflate function which works fairly well.

So, assuming this holds up, I'd say it's a GOOD PRODUCT!

Are you guys running any specials on portable systems? I'm looking for something for my 33" tires, but, would like a portable system.

I heard the 300 is great, but gets really hot while in use. What's the difference between the 300 and 400?

Thanks!

Thanks for posting the picture and the feedback. I know you will be pleased with the compressor years down the road!

All the compressors will get hot during use, as any time you compressor air, it will generate heat. That is normal for that to happen.

The 300P is a great choice, I recommend for 33's or even some 35's if they are filled to low pressures (30 PSI).

The 400P-A is a great choice, or even the 400P. The nice thing about the 400P-A, it is will automatically shut off when you release the trigger on the inflation gun, and make checking pressure on the tire a little easier. The 300P and 400P, you will have to turn off the compressor to accurately check pressure on the inline gauge. The automatic is a nice feature.

What size tires are you running or plan to run?

Are you counting orders from the other forums towards this total or is it only the total of orders through WF?

So if I buy the ADA system for my 2012, what would be required later if I wanted to add a tank? Would the compressor turn off at the desired pressure or run continuously?
