Just what I was looking for. What's the difference between the two kinds of Bilsteins (still learning about this stuff)?

Both shocks listed above are for the kit. They are just f/r part numbers. There are many differences in a mfg's shock line, especially Bilstien. These are 5100 Series. There is also the 5160 Series, which is a remote reservoir for extreme cycling of the suspension. The remote portion of the shock allows for more fluid exchange and better cooling.

Have a blessed and propserous day!

Namaste,

Allen

Do the Bilsteins provide a better ride on or off the road? For a dummy what is the advantage?
Thanks

Looks like spring has sprung on the west coast. Not long for the rest of the country. Get what you need/want for your projects now. Taxes season hopefully was good to your rig's upgrade fund.

Have a blessed and prosperous day!

Allan, can i ask you what the Teraflex number on the sprigs are for the 2 door and 4 door.
I just installed a Teraflex 1.5" performance level kit with Bilstein 708 and 715's that I ordered form Northridge4x4. I installed it yesterday and it lifted my front 3" and the rear 2" ....front springs a 1853050 and rear are 1854050. When I looked it up at google it indicated that its the spring for a 2.5 lift. I like it, but it looks like that I need more parts(bump stops, sway bar bracket, etc) to fix the problem if its the springs for the 2.5 lift.
Thank you for any information you can give me Timo.

Timo,

sounds like you got the 4dr kit and you have a 2dr rig. The part numbers for the 2dr kit springs are:

1853020 and 1854020. PM me if you want the additional parts.

Have a great day!

Allen

Allen, if I understand you right 3050 &4050 are for the 1.5 lift on a 4 door. If this is correct than that is what I ordered, but I been told by Teraflex that it's only about 1/4 to 1/2 more on a 2 door(to compensate for heavy bumpers), but it ended up dobble! Thanks for your help Timo
