I have never been but I am envious. I wheeled in Jordan once, destroyed the transmissions in 2 rental SUV's playing in the sand and mud. Good Times.

There is incredible wheeling in Kenya! Mostly defenders. Safari's can be planned by numerous travel companies from full service to do it yourself. Pick up a four wheel drive and a guide and go see the wildlife.

If you run into Prince Abarooji (son of a deposed King), tell him he still owes me 29 million bucks.

If you wanna have a good wheeling experience (I am Kenyan) Try visit some of the Safari Rally trails.
There is HUGE event called the rhino charge. That would also be a fun challenge to do and the trails are a beast. My family did it a few times (Landcruiser FJ80 diesel) and it was fun.
