Advice on placement of lights?

Scratching my head and looking for solutions.

I have the SDB 210s on the front (see avatar). They are 8.5". I think they are too big, but my wife bought them without really discussing it with me.

I have the 3.5" fog lights on the bumper.

I am inclined to get 6.5" (keeping everything Warn) and placing them where the 3.5" are, shining through the loop on the brushguard. I would move the 3.5" fogs to windshield mounts that I have on hand. But then, what do I do with the 8.5"? They're huge. They don't fit behind the brush guard and don't even think about windshield mounts.

I would like to put four lights across the top rack bar, but the 8.5" are just too big and buying two more is expensive. I would also like a couple of lights in back, but again, the 8.5" are overkill.

I'm doing a trailer build and might find a need to include lighting there, but I doubt it.

Have I missed any options? Suggestions?

Lighting placement isn't so much the size as it is beam pattern. Generally speaking, you want flood lights to be put down low, and spot lights to be placed up high. Driving beam (combo) in the middle.

Considering that they are more spot lights then driving lights, they need to go up high. The two of those mounted on a roof rack/mount would be all the spot lights you should need. I personally am okay with the cosmetics of roof mounted 8" lights, as all height added to a jeep (rack, lights) tend to give the illusion of a taller Jeep... a cheep lift for posers, and real Jeepers alike!

Heck, you could always just sell them on Ebay!
