I think I saw this confirmed on another thread, but TJs do not need the H4 To H13 Adapters in order to run the truck-lite gen 7s right? Will my '03 give them a flicker? There have been a lot of discussions throughout the forum on pigtail, harnesses etc. so just wanted to double check with you guys first.
I've been reading all the threads on truck-lites vs. HIDs for the last 4 weeks... I think I just need to pull the trigger on these LEDs!
I know this is an old thread but does anyone know if the Trucklite leds for the tj are street legal in Europe? Germany specially, cant seem to find anything on this been looking but hoped someone on here might know
I too have got the new Trucklite LED lights. I love them! I also installed LED bulbs for the fog lights to match the white/blueish light that the headlights give off. If I were you I would go ahead and get them.
Which LED bulbs did you buy?

'10 Black Audi A4 Quattro (Wife)
'01 Silver Honda Civic (DD)
Are you running the new generation Truck-Lite LED's and what do you think of them?
Anyone runnning the new generation Truck-Lite LED head-lamps, and if so, what is your real world experience with them? I have read that the scratch up easily, but they are bright as can be. I'm not to worried about the x, but is this for real?
I want new headlamps, but $600 for headlamps is steep, so I want to make sure people are happy with them before I commit. Is there another option that will give me that much light for less money and a tougher lens cover that won't scratch?
Thanks in advance...
I am running them for about 3 weeks now.... LOVE EM!
As anyone upgraded their stock fog lights to the Trucklite 80275? If so, how do they mount?
I looked up installation and removal on Alldata but it doesn't say anything about aftermarket housings and how you get them to stay in the hole.
Just found out some info, the 80275 will work but it's not a direct plug and play.
Truck-Lite 80275 Round LED 4-1/2" Aux Drive Light Harley & Jeep JK Fog Light
• For Jeep JK these lights require wiring harness adapter - 9145 harness for 2007-2009 Jeep JK fog lights -- 2504 harness for 2010 & newer JK fog lights - These light do not fit in the OE fog light housing and must be fit into the front side of the bumper - OE bumper only!! Provides a clean, streamlined look when installed along with Truck-Lite 27270C LED Headlamp. • Pure white light output is closer to the color temperature of daylight, dramatically improving light projection distance and overall visibility with a bright, crisp output.
I just got the new Truck Light phase 7's for my birthday. We installed them today and I found that they went in easily with one small hitch...
When plugging in the ani-flicker harness to the light bulb plug they would not click in. There is a little triangle on the top that is supposed to click into the green tab on the light bulb plug and it seemed like the plastic triangle had "melted" back. We had to shave a little off with a razor blade.
Other than that the install went well and I am going to try them out tonight.
I got mine last month and love them. On one it looked like a smudge on the inside, called TruckLite and they sent me out a new pair didn't ask for a credit card number in case the other pair weren't returned. Great company that stands behind their product. I'm just saying if I was dishonest I could have kept them and sold them on craigslist.
I have a very slight flicker with the replacement lights and on Monday they are sending out a new harness, not sure, but hoping they are the anti flicker ones. I can't say enough about this companies customer service
Just a note on the installation: I used dielectric grease on all the connections, and wrapped the light to harness connection in electrical tape to further prevent moisture or loosening from occurring.
She's gonna need all the illumination she can get come the zombie apocalypse, and it would be an awful shame to be devoured alive by the undead due to a light failure and hitting an obstacle.
