Yeah, not a jeep owner anymore but I figure I may as well lend some gained knowledge. My old 99tj kept blowing out the right headlamp over and oveand over again., and I spent a week troubleshooting the damn problem. I had gone mudding shortly before so I naturally thought some mud or debris was causing the lights to short out. So i cleaned every connesctor under the hood and applied some dielectric to each and every wire contact. after a thorough inspection i discovered hat an aftermarket battery retainer bracket that I had installed months before had oversized bolts that rubbed a wire bundle raw from spirited off roading and was causing the short. A few wire splices later, problem was solved. PS anyone want to trade their jeep for a Bimmer? I'm trying to get back in the game.
