Fog light upgrade

Want to upgrade my factory fog lights. I can't seem to find a replacement bulb. I found one at O'Rileys but they were $30 each. Want to go with a a bright white lite. I just replaced headlamps with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and wanted something similar or fogs. Any suggestions?

depending on what bulb your fog's use, you should be able to get the same model bulbs for them. Some bulb types are harder to find than others, most factory fogs use H11 or H7 which are easy to get. Buying online makes it all too easy and usually a bit cheaper.

Sylvania Silverstar ZXE bulbs... I found a special buy one get one on Sylvania bulbs @ Autozone not long ago. The bulbs are $27 each. Keep an eye out though.

I just replaced my headlights with these. 2014 with H13's. They don't seem brighter but much much whiter. Sylvania doesn't show these available in a psx24w which is the fog lights.

Is the psx24w the bulb size? I read somewhere (cant find it now) that the bulb size is a H10. Is that the same size?

That's what the book says. From what I understand it's called a lot of different things. I believe an H16 will work as well with slight modification to the retaining tabs on the bulb. It's pretty confusing to a lighting newb like me. I'm also in a 14 and I think the bulbs changed
In 12. I may be wrong.

If I want to upgrade to HID lights do I need to use a conversion kit for head and fogs? Has anyone done this?

on my 09 Sahara I replaced the fogs with Delta 55w. I really liked them. Better spread and far more light than the stock lamps. I just got my '14 Rubi co I'll be looking into replacing both fogs and headlights as well. I would not recommend Delta Quad headlights - pricey and didn't seem to do any better than stock.
