As for a headlight upgrade you can do many things, drop in ddm tuning hid kit, hella or cibbie ecodes, or dot compliant LEDs like trucklites for the traditionalist dck above.

I've got the philips hid headlights. I did not want to spent crazy money on the fogs, so i got the nokya yellows. I have been running them for about 2 years and have been very happy

Why is it reopened? It is discussing illegal activity.

As the first post in the JK after market lighting thread states:

__________________________________________________

Not all lighting options are legal and it is up
to the individual buying/installing the lights
to determine if it is legal or not. It is not up
to the members or staff of this forum to
make that decision for you.

If you plan to post your opinion or interpretation about the legality of certain lights, DON'T!!!

This thread and any other JK lighting thread is to be a discussion about lights, not the law. If you
can't do that, STAY OUT!!! And if you can't do that either, it's three strikes and
you're out. Third offense is a permanent ban.

This is your ONLY warning.

If you have questions about aftermarket HID lighting kits and whether or not they are legal you can follow the link below and read the article. You can also visit to your local law enforcement office or just Google lighting laws.

What a great discussion. I have been racking my brain trying to find both internal and external bulbs. I really don't want to add a kit right now due to just spending a lot for my POV. Does anyone have any suggestions for a website that would have after market bulbs that are clear and bright for good prices.

You can find those just about anywhere. As far as pricing goes, im not too sure. But, they aren't very expensive. Sylvania and philips are both pretty good choices.
